Delete Your Account

You can ask us to delete your BayDraft account and everything stored under it at any time, for any reason, without explaining why. This page describes how to do that, exactly what is removed, and how long it takes.

How to request deletion

Send an email to legal@baydraft.app with the subject Delete my BayDraft account.

Send it from the email address the account is registered to. That address is how we verify the request is yours. We do not ask for your password, and you should never send it to us — we cannot read it in any case, because we do not store passwords in a readable form. If you can no longer send mail from the registered address, say so in your message and we will find another way to verify you before deleting anything.

You do not need to list what you want removed. A deletion request removes the whole account.

What gets deleted

• Your account, including your email address and display name.
• Your stored password credential.
• Every stage design saved to your account — props, positions, names, notes, tags, sport, and round counts.
• Stage thumbnail images.
• Any share links you created, which stop working immediately.

What is not deleted, and why

• Stages saved only on your device. BayDraft works offline, and designs you never synced were never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes them.
• Copies other people already have. If you shared a stage and someone saved or exported it, that copy is theirs and outside our reach. Revoking a share link stops future access; it cannot recall what has already been downloaded.
• Records we are legally required to keep, or that are necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. In practice this is rare and does not include your stage designs.
• Ordinary server logs, which are deleted automatically on their own 90-day cycle and are not linked to your designs.

How long it takes

We will acknowledge your request within 10 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Backups holding copies of deleted data are cycled out within 90 days.

Deletion is permanent. Once it is done we cannot restore your stages, and neither can you. If you want to keep any of your designs, export them from the app before you send the request.

If you only want to remove some things

You do not need to delete your account to get rid of individual designs. Deleting a stage in the app removes it from our servers and from your other devices. Revoking a share link disables that link without touching the stage. You can also change your display name at any time. Deleting your account is the option for removing everything at once.
